Twelfth Knight

I really enjoyed this fast-paced high school drama—it took a little while to find its rhythm, but once it did, I was hooked.
This one brings all the coming-of-age romcom vibes, with a dash of enemies-to-lovers and some fun secret identity chaos. Vi was kind of the worst… but also, same, girl. I get it.
The portrayal of the online gaming space felt way too real—hostile, dismissive, and exhausting for girls trying to exist in it. As a female gamer, I can confirm this is a pretty accurate depiction of what it feels like to be constantly underestimated, spoken over, and insulted solely based on gender.
I do wish there had been more meaningful interactions with adult characters—parents, teachers, literally anyone—but that might just be me nitpicking.
