Okay I’m going to have to read a full length book by this author cause if she can commander this much plot without it feeling like info dumping I can’t even imagine what she could do with 300+ pages.
I loooved that their crushes were mutual but expressed in different ways unique to their personalities. This is new adult and written in a way I really enjoyed and felt realistic.
This was going to be a 5 star for me but unfortunately there is a scene while they are babysitting where there are just too many kids too close when shenanigans are happening and it was uncomfy. I feel like if this was written now (this does feel very current otherwise though) or just maybe one more beta reader I think this scene would’ve been cut. Even though they met under very steamy circumstances the rest of their spice wasn’t so out there in that way so it also didn’t feel consistent to their characters.
