The Autumn of the Patriarch by Gabriel García Márquez

Did not finish book. Stopped at 35%.

The book had me for the first 60 pages or so. I feel like this format of everything being essentially one big sentence would function better as a short story than a whole book. I got fatigued with the amount of mental energy is required to read through it all. Maybe someday I’ll come back to it, but only after I’ve finished everything more engaging on my to-read list.
