While I started reading this book with some clear expectations and a very set outlook because I have watched the movie several times, I was very surprised and delighted to read this amazing story. While Studio Ghibli gave it life in the big screen, Diana had a different direction of how this story would be told. Some were definitely more gruesome than others whilst some parts of the book were left out of the movie. I enjoyed hunting for the differences between both and would recommend them to anyone.
