If you liked Butcher and Blackbird but felt it lacked vampires, or if My Roommate's a Vampire just wasn't bloody enough, Loving a Vampire is Total Choas is perfect for you.

As the titular chaotic vampire, Zavier delivers. Like, this dude is batshit (pun intended). Reading his antics really made me want to give this 4 stars, but I was kinda confused by the "fated mates" trope, especially when the lore of how vampires originated was revealed? But I do really like the vampire lore in this book aside from that.

Celine was a fine character, the subplot with her father was kinda shoved to the side, which was a shame because it was really interesting to see how he was the only reaosn she took on such a dangerous job. I love that she took in his cat, Midnight, and that said cat just loves Zavier. Me too, bud.

Overall, I had fun with this and will absolutely be reading the next in the series. I think you really have to justy accept the campiness of it for full enjoyment-- the title is a warning, after all!

Huge thank you to Aura Hayes and Valentine PR for an advance copy of this book for a review!
