First off, I love Ali Hazelwood. With that said, this was a slow start for me. I was honestly a bit confused at times when the book first started. I’m not sure if it was due to how the POV was written or how the chapters flowed. I didn’t feel like Vandy and Lukas had a lot of chemistry. I didn’t like how the relationship was ‘proposed’. It just felt weird.

A few things that drove me crazy:
1) The fact that Vandy/Scarlet cried ALL of the time. And for no apparent reason at some points.
2) why was it pointed out that Lukas was leaning on doors so much…? Do we care that much?

It picked up a bit after page 100. I wound up enjoying how it ended.
