This couple won my heart from page one. This is a gorgeous second chance romance that follows June and Rhys as they navigate being in the same place again 15 years after their breakup as teenagers. June’s career as a country music singer has finally started to take off, but when she returns home after a betrayal she never expected, she’s forced to come face to face with the man who promised to follow her, and never did - and his two daughters.
June and Rhys are so incredibly layered and well-written. I loved that we got to see beyond their love story and experience supporting characters who also had depth to them. Rhys’ daughters really made the story, and watching their connection build with June was so special.
This book was both heartbreaking and heartwarming. I can’t wait to read the rest of the Bourbon Canyon series!
Thank you to the Walker Rose & The Author Agency for this arc!
