The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: A Trilogy in Four Parts by Douglas Adams

2.0

The first part is, mostly harmless ,like the book describes our earth. But the rest are all overkill. Novelty, the waywardness, sci -fi comedy all seems to make the first part a very interesting read. But the same continues in the successive parts looses all the sheen: There is no novelty, since there is already a first part, how long can you stretch a novel with narration alone and no hint of storyline, and the sci-fi comedy slightly makes you turn a page but still not compensate the utter drab. With tremendous effort finished the 2nd part. But exhausted all my effort quotient in it and cudnt finish the 3rd. So pressed the pickup button in my online lending library site.
