I love cats. I love libraries. I loved this book. Vicki Myron interweaves the history of her town and her library with the story of Dewey, the awesome library cat. The book was a touch too autobiographical for my tastes, going into personal illness and family relations. However, I was fascinated by the picture of a small-town library that becomes a world-famous tourist location due to its cat. There are plenty of cute photographs of Dewey, too. This book was a great way to honor a cute little guy who was a friend to so many.
