Styxx by Sherrilyn Kenyon

No one in the world needs to read 600 pages of constant rape, abuse and torture. Especially of a goddamn teenager. This is so over the top its in fucking Space.
I haven't picked up a Kenyon book since my early 20s (so, a decade) and this fucking book is making me question if the others were even good, or if I didn't have good taste yet, because this story was 1000 different kinds of unnecessary.
This should have been 400 pages tops, with 90% less of the aforementioned darkness and it would have been decent.
Bonus gripe: this book making Acheron look (rightfully) like an absolute ass honestly ruins all past feelings about Acheron and any future feelings properly tainted. Gee, thanks. What a prize to walk away from this book with.
