I read this book in one sitting. I was initally weary of Anderson writing from a male perspective but I think she pulled it off well. I don't recall ever thinking " a girl wrote this?"
I liked it.
I was able to relate to Tyler's life with his parents. The similarities were eerily close to my life (the train, headphones, music...my father SPOT ON)
I was suprised at how well Tyler kept it together despite what was happening to him.
There were several ways this book could have gone and I'm glad they didn't go any of those ways.
I'd recommend it.
