Knot My Problem by Sinclair Kelly
4.0
I loved Reese. I definitely wanted her story after reading Bex and Arden's awhile back. She started out super tough, a special agent Omega on scent blockers pretending to be a beta. And though she was still a force to be reckoned with, after she stopped with the scent blockers, she lost that edge. Because pheromones and hormones really took over and dictated a lot of what she did. Jaxon was my fave fella. He stood by her no matter what from the beginning. The Chief (Max) drove me bonkers, as he was meant to, since the story provides an angsty second chance. I liked getting to know his pack and seeing Reese find love and acceptance, but I needed to see Max rectify his shortcomings with Reese's father, and that didn't happen. The heat hit, he claimed her, and she forgave him without a real showing of growth from his mistakes. Other than that, I enjoyed reading about Reese being showered with affection after spending her entire adulthood running from it.
