it was a lovely little book but it didn’t say as much as i was hoping for. it’s written as a love letter to literature but i think it fell a little flat with its closing message
that being said, it was an enjoyable read and the translator’s note about the lack of pronouns was super interesting. keeping the cat gender neutral was a neat addition
