Warm Bodies

WTH?! Could it be that I'm finally growing out of SF/dystopian/fantasy genre? Because I haven't read anything from those genres to my liking in a while. I quite liked this one but I felt like something was missing. Guess I'm not that keen on all that zombie stuff. I wasn't discusted but some descriptions made even me feel qeasy. Guess I'm more werewolves/shadowhunters/aliens kind of girl.
I watched trailer for the movie the other day and I could tell that there were some changes made, but I think that they made movie to be not open for the sequel. I don't see what could happen in the book sequel after that ending but I'm sure something will came up. And release date is near!!! Like early 2015 or something....
I quite liked the character of R. He was funny, intriguing and made me wanna know more about him. And those moments when he would see Perry's memories were my favorites. But Julie was kind of... She was okay but I couldn't feel the conection between her and R like I always do in the other books of this genre. That's what I didn't like.
The book was okay, but I wouldn't recommend it to those who have a light stomach.
