Who knew Viking romance fantasies would do it for me🤠The world was super easy to understand, and I really like Freya (the fmc). I also liked Bjorn, but didn’t feel as connected with him as I wanted. Well paced, forced proximity, forbidden romance, good banter, lots of action. Love it.
My only faults with this book is I wish we got more from the romance (tension, yearning, emotion, etc) and there was an arc in this book when they vistied a place to honour the gods (I don’t know how else to explain it) which didn’t make sense to me and felt a bit slow at times, other than that it was a great read.
The plot twist at the end shocked me a little but was kind of predictable, still had me gaping though. Definitely going to continue this series.
