I found that this novel felt more like an exploration of conceptual ideas than a novel with any drive. While I did find many points compelling, I ultimately felt that the book was much too long given its lack of drive. I am glad I read it because it did really make me think but I hesitate to recommend it. The pace never really picks up. It is not like you slog through some world building for anything gripping. It is a slow and contemplative exploration of political entities and the grass is always greener mentality.
