This book was exactly what it was trying to be: a light and cute romcom.
The writing style was not my favorite, but the dialogues were nice, although I cringed at some of them.
The book was undeniably at its best when Olive and Adam were interacting. I think the romance was cute and made sense, although it felt weird in some early moments. I
I think the friendship between Olive and Ahn lacked a LOT of chemistry, and I honestly think that Malcolm would've made a much better best friend.
I also didn't like that Olive's asexuality was just implied. It would have been really great to have an explicitly ace character in a book this famous on social media. Rep is important.
In conclusion, this was nothing more than what was expected. I recommend if you like the genre.
