Long story short, the bulk of my four-star rating was for the last third of the book, particularly the twist everyone was hyping out. But I personally don’t like the way it was written. The writing was bland at best, like the characters didn't have depth. Maybe it was because there was so many characters to flesh out, to invoke a believable suspicion. I also grimaced at a lot of characterizations, especially the women characters wanting to get laid a lot. But my rating primarily stems from the experience I have with the book, particularly its plot. Good read.
