Changing my rating from 2.5 to 3 after a goodnight sleep.
I have so much highlights and thoughts that I'll be back for this review.

I didn't really know what to say in this review. It had most of the themes that I like. What can I say - I like when my heart twists in pain when the MC is hurt (emotionally) by the guy. Manipulative and toxic these guys can be, I enjoy it. Why? Cause even if their redemption(if there is any at all) at the end doesn't justify all the pain they caused the main MC - I was happy as long as main MC is happy at the end of it. Shallow, I know.
Travis likes to fight to earn money and that's where he met Pidgeon a.k.a Abby. Since then, he set his eyes on her. He became her friend which is not a Travis-thing. but because *ding ding ding*:
He became her friend. Not even to flirt. He even helped her study. Which, again, not a regular Travis-thing to do.
The thing I disliked here is how easily Abby changes her mind when it comes to Travis. She kept reassuring her bestfriend, America (great side character, btw) that she will never give in to Travis' attempts. BUT SHE DID! of course.
My thoughts are so jumbled right now. I don't have solid stand on this book. I liked it but not really. I have so much highlight on shitty things from this book but I won't put out all of it.
This was by Abby's roommate. And this pretty much explained the whole book. Travis became so dependant on Abby. Fucking toxic. I love it. (see disclaimer)
Closer to the end, I just skimmed through it. Until the Vegas scene, cringe AF.

And he says, "I promised her I'd never take it off." I almost threw my kindle out the window after that line.
After he passed through, Abby said "It's okay, baby. It's back on your finger."
She also, got a tattoo that says MRS. MADDOX. again:

They went off to Vegas to get married. When they were at the airport to fly back home, Travis went through the metal inspection thingy and it alerted so they told him t take off his ring.And he says, "I promised her I'd never take it off." I almost threw my kindle out the window after that line.
