The Stars, Like Dust by Isaac Asimov

4.0

Ok, I think I've gone too far with Asimov.
Its books started to get predictable, and since this was my last one from all the galactic empire universe. It may have felt more like a chore than a pleasure reading.

The thing is, the universe is great. The details about how politics evolves and technology is involved. Especially how this story connects to the birth of Trantor and the Galatic Empire are great. But the drive forces during the plotline are just not fun anymore. The basic plot of an out of the blue romance. A weak female character. The need for a plot-twist villain. And to finish up, the obsession of Asimov with mind reading. These factors are really bothersome.

Even though the Foundation are still my favorites. I think I'll leave Asimov out of my reading lists for a while now.
