a snake falls to earth is one of the most beautiful books ive ever read!!
darcie little badgers’ stories are so simple yet so special, this book has definitely solidified my love for her writing and the beautiful worlds she so meticulously creates intertwined with traditional lipan apache storytelling!!

when oli, an animal person meaning he can switch between his true form (cottonmouth snake) and false form (human form) from a reflecting world and nina, a human girl from earth who have no idea of the other's existence cross paths through the most unexpected circumstances, they help each other through their worst nightmare!!
a unique story that is full of adventure and of life and the most amazing part being the characters who are amazing and selfless and are ready to bend hell for each other. i could not help but root for these kids and want to protect them from any and all harm. it is the sweetest and the most wholesome book ive read in a long while and i loved that there is no romance focussing more on the adventures and the friendship they formed (:
