Boys Run the Riot, Vol. 1 by Keito Gaku
5.0
I literally sat here and read it one go and even read the interview and acknowledgements. Which is rare.
At first I saw this at my local bookstore, but didn’t pick it up. I decided to get it again when I went book shopping last week and I absolutely love this manga. I love the art style and the characters. Especially Jin. I tend to really like characters like Jin who may seem like a bad person, but is really a good guy once you get to know them, they just happen to have a mean looking face and demeanor.
I like Ryo too. I like that he uses graffiti to express himself and his individuality. I love his friendship with Jin and Itsuka and their goal of starting Boys Run the Riot.
If this was an anime, I would watch it full stop. No hesitation.
