OK, so book 3 was amazing...and then this book was not. It was one of the stupidest last-book-in-a-series ever. WHY do writers think it's OK to do a reboot of things and rehash shit when they run out of ideas? I mean come on - that's why I didn't read the last book in the "Hush, Hush" series. I started reading this immediately after reading book 3, and when I got to a "certain part" I got so pissed off and started skimming...and skimming...and skimming until I was all the way at the end and things went back to normal and it was all over. So yeah, I read the whole thing in about an hour and a half. I've done that before with skimming, but I've always gone back and read it for real...with this, it's just not worth it. I read the entire ending and was not confused in the slightest - so basically the entire book was completely pointless. So disappointing compared to the rest of the series. But hey, I tend to get super attached to characters and don't like when writers mess with them, so maybe other people that don't get ridiculously attached would find it better.
