The second volume of Straczynski's new Superman continues his origin story with flashbacks as Superman faces his first foe that he doesn't immediately thwart. I think I've been spending too much time with the bat family and it is taking me a bit to wrap my head around a superhero that isn't constantly in his head hell bent on vengeance and justice at the same time. I'm trying.
