Unearthed by Meagan Spooner, Amie Kaufman
3.25
Unearthed is the first book I've read by Amie Kaufman and Meagan Spooner.
It is a pretty standard YA dystopian sci-fi romance novel set in a world where (poor) people are dying from lack of... things, and salvation seems to come in the form of a dead alien race that supposedly left all their technology behind for the cleverest to find and use. Sure.
The sci-fi is a bit standard, though I liked the general setting and clues solving of the book, but the romance didn't really do it for me, because of the cringe-worthy lines that were sometimes used.
At this point I'm not sure if I'm going to continue on because I do feel this book is a bit out of my age-range and there's so many more stories to read.
Happy Reading!
