An excellent end to the series, these last two books combine to make a tense, high-stakes duology within the greater series and they’ve been a highlight for me. Rorra cemented herself as one of my favorites of the series. Again Wells impressed me with her sheer creativity, the ruins and cloud wall are like nothing else I’ve ever read. Sad to be leaving this world but I’m sure I’ll be checking out other books in Wells’ back catalogue
