Just for the Summer by Abby Jimenez

1.0

Lost me entirely all the million times Emma tried to rebuff or change the subject and Justin kept pushing her to get his way.

When after sex a woman is putting on her clothes a couple of steps away from you, with her back turned the opposite direction from where you are, she's evidently trying to emotionally regulate herself. What did Justin do? He went up to Emma, invaded her personal space, hugged her, nuzzled her ear and started talking about dinner and all the options of food they could have. Emma said that she'd be getting back to him. A firm but polite "no". Justin kept pressing, saying he could bring it to her and she had to physically remove herself from his hug and say that she needed a minute to think.

All this happened literally 100 pages before the book ended. I don't even wanna mention all the times it happened before. Justin isn't a "if he wanted to, he would", he's a man without enough emotional intelligence to understand and respect someone setting boundaries.
