Hmmmm. I’m on the fence about this one. The setup and plot overall was intriguing and exciting to read, but the messaging felt a bit preachy and simplistic. And somehow the female perspective didn’t feel very authentic to me. But I think it was an entertaining read and a fun divergence into speculative fiction for me, since I usually read contemporary fiction.
