Ruthless Kings by Laura Lee

5.0

Ooooh, this book is steamy, intriguing, and downright delicious.
Ruthless Kings picks up right where Wicked Liars left us at the breathtaking cliffhanger. There are so many questions, the mystery plot thickens, and we are no closer to finding out who attacked Jazz.

Jazz is recovering from her brutal attack and doesn't know who to trust. The list of suspects is longer than the people she can keep close. Pushing everyone away she tries to go back to her aloof self and push everyone away, but the big flaw in her plan is the king of Windsor Academy, Kingston Davenport. He's become a barnacle caveman who refuses to let her out of his sights, but to earn her trust he needs to begin spilling some secrets.

Kingston may have had the funds to pay the men who attacked Jazz, but he soon proves that he is too attached to the girl who has taken over his entire mind, body, and soul. He pulls out all the stops to find her attackers, while still also keeping some of his own secrets. While Jazz could be the key to bringing down his father and hers he's getting too emotionally involved to continue using her to bringing them down.

Who is behind the attack, who is spying on Jazz, and how can they bring down these powerful men? There are still so many ends to tie up and will everyone make it out alive? I'm so excited to the next installment and to have my questions answered.
