Hm. Um…. Well. I don’t really know how to articulate why I like this. It’s deeply weird, and eerie and mysterious and actually kind of confusing throughout. Mary Katherine is a weirdo, but lovable, and Constance is an enigma. The novel is short and yet the character work is astonishing. Worth a read for sure, if by chapter 2 you aren’t feeling it then put it down, it only gets weirder.
