The Tenth Muse: My Life in Food
by Judith Jones
A good foodie memoir in which the author rubs elbows with the great cookbook authors back in the day- Hazzan, Beard, Child, etc. She handles the book structure well in that each chapter is not just chronological- there is a theme or a topic and she tells stories related to that. Certainly not the best foodie book ever written, but a good holiday buy for someone that likes the foodie memoir genre, especially from a literary/book publishing perspective.
