the book felt v improvised???? like u know in school we used to get writing prompts and we just had to write whatever came to mind. it feels like the writer just wanted to write abt smth weird and bizarre (apparently this genre of books is called bizarro?) and he thought smth related to vagina would catch people’s eyes and he was right ofc. i bet most people who picked this book up did it bcs of the title alone. “haunted vagina” who wouldnt wanna read that?
then he just,,, wrote a novel the way we used to write short stories in school. began w the prompt haunted vagina, wrote whatever came to his mind. first a ghost crawls out of it. then they realise theres a whole world inside her. upon entering they find skeletons n weird metallic buildings containing dark sculptures idk its all so RANDOM. i have to say the ending surprised me i didnt expect him to stay inside of her and start a family w fig. and the whole scientific reasons given behind this seemed pretty logical actually. so the ending was fine. otherwise it was meh.
this is not to say i didnt enjoy it. i DID. but,, yeah its nothing special. i didnt expect it to be a great piece of literature ofc but hmm theres nothing remarkable abt it. its just weird and thats why i enjoyed it.
