Heliacle Rising by C.C. Davie

Did not finish book. Stopped at 25%.
The world building is weak, some of the plots don't make sense and this feel like ACOTAR Rhysand and Feyra have an open relationship and the MC is joined in. It was also instant attraction from her part to both of the husband and wife duo, but somehow she never questioned it or feel guilty having that sort of attraction with her wedding day super near.
I also feel like the author setup the world in a way that make the wife unable to ever have children, so the MC joining this tricycle is now even more crucial because she's the only one that can give children.

This is also why I was skeptical of this FFM relationship, it doesn't feel authentic, it just feel like a harem for the ML.
Also surface level feminism as well, with one of the side character Lyrika, being the "I'm not like other girl". She's "powerful" and "hotheaded", the ML is weaker than her and when asked by another man, Amylia's fiancee, why he let a subordinate challenge him and a female at that, the ML replied because she's the best in her field and she's a very strong + skilled woman. Which gives me the implications that other women won't get that same level of respect if they're not born powerful.
I did tried to brush it off, thinking that I over analyzing too much, but then it happened again. Rayvn, Amylia's brother, addressed Lyrika as Lady "something name", she snorted and don't call me a lady, I'm not like that and you'll won't think so after I train you. Yet she freely call other men lords, but somehow being called a lady to her is seen as feminine and weak.
