The setup is intriguing and the use of diagrams and blueprints throughout to illustrate deductions is really fun. My main problem is it feels like the deductions sometimes come from thin air. Characters will make a huge leap in logic with little to no evidence, and the book will then continue on like they have established a fact. The first half is a fun mystery that I quite enjoyed (especially when I was able to piece something together before the characters) but the latter half kind of fizzles out. The pacing is lightning fast, not allowing a lot of empty space that I feel mystery novels often need.
