This book is a great example of how empowering romance novels can be. I loved that the author gave Alex a happy ending on her own terms. Alex didn’t settle for the expectations her family had set for her. She created her own life and her own happiness - not just in love but in her career as well. It was a really refreshing reminder that you have to maintain healthy boundaries, but not let those boundaries prevent you from being open to love and happiness. I truly enjoyed every minute of this book and applaud the author on weaving together so many important and relatable topics for women in their 20s and 30s.
