Love, Lies, and Hocus Pocus: Beginnings by Lydia Sherrer

4.0

I read this as part of Dewey's 24 Hour Readathon

It took me much longer to read this book than it should have, though that is not the fault of the book. I've been distracted all day, my mind wandering to other topics. Anyway, this was an interesting book, and I like Lily and Seb as characters. I should point out that this book is stylized so that it is actually two "episodes" and an "interlude" all bound up together. There is a lot of nice description and such of magic and how it works. Also, can I say that I'm jealous of Lily's job, since she is a librarian with only a bachelor's degree in the subject. I have my Master's in Library and Information Science and I can't seem to find a library job. I'm curious to see what will happen in the next book, but I think for now I need to read something different.
