And I'm finally done with the series.
See I have been disappointed quite often throughout the series. To be honest, I can count the amount of times I actually liked something about this series and I wasn't expecting anything at all from this last novella which kinda helped because I liked the wedding scene. Although yeah the beginning of this book was boring. I liked the second half of this book.

“If you two are going to be disgusting on your wedding day,” Kenji says over his shoulder, “could you at least whisper? It’s close quarters in this crowd, okay? No one wants to hear your filthy conversations.”
He's so relatable. That's me being a third wheel IRL.
And I feel as if I’ve stepped into a strange, alternate reality, into a world where I didn’t think I’d ever belong. I could never have anticipated that somehow, somewhere along this tumultuous path— I’d acquired friends.
This. I was smiling throughout the surprises scene and the wedding. I love the found-family trope and seeing these people being so kind and affectionate towards each other is so heartwarming. But it's still frustating that Warner didn't have any real character development in the series. He's so good with Juliette but he's such a rude jerk to everyone else. Well at least we got the Kenji and Warner's friendship dynamic towards the end.
And I've said it before but I'll say it again. Kenji was the best bro, the best friend and the best character in this series. He really has all my heart.
I wish I've gotten to see more about Winston and Brendan. They seemed really cute to me and I wanted to see what their relationship was really like.
“Did you know, I once watched a dog vomit—and then proceed to eat its own vomit.”
“Okay, but—”
"And then vomit. Again.”
Sam crosses her arms. “That was one dog.”
“Another dog once defecated right in front of me while I was patrolling a compound.”
“That’s perfectly norm—”
“After which it promptly ate its own feces.”
I lost it.
