Ruth Murray and Knox Price met in high school. They were perpetual rivals, each pushing the other to be better. Ruth finally got the edge by becoming valedictorian in their final year. 

Cut to ten years later Ruth works at The Stanford bank as head of marketing. When she hears whispers of a new executive starting there is nobody more surprised than her to find out that it is none other than Knox Price. Knox is the CEO of his startup company. 

Similarly Knox has thought about Ruth often in the past ten years. She’s to only person that can challenge him and create that spark in his life he so needs. 

She’s afraid of thunder and lightning and he’s afraid of never ‘feeling’ again. Are they a match made in heaven or will they stay enemies forever?

The first book in a family series that will focus on the Murray siblings. Their toxic parents have caused a knock on effect with each of them.

I absolutely INHALED this book. I loved both Ruth and Knox’s characters, they were both so well written. I enjoy the elements of the story, their rivalry and the sparks that came off the page for these two. 

I cannot recommend this enough.
