The Lightning Thief is a book full of fun adventures sprinkled with some Greek mythological elements that are easy to follow. Our main trio has its charm, particularly Percy, and some surprises emerge along the way as we reach the end of the story. I saw the potential of the universe but felt like little of it was truly explored.
The story didn't particularly surprised me, but it entertained me until the end. However, I really felt that I wasn’t the target audience for the book, and I possibly would have enjoyed it much more in my early youth.
