I was sobbing desperately at the end of this book. Clementine and Iwan’s story is desperate and pining and sweet and complex and everything I’d wished it would be. Aunt analese haunts the narrative and charms her way through dark moments. The themes of grief and love and patience and empathy resonated so strongly that I found it hard to focus on anything else. If there was ever a five star reads, it’s this book.
Graphic: Grief
Moderate: Sexual content, Suicide
Minor: Pregnancy, Abandonment
