i really enjoyed the concept of this book and what it tried to be. the dual pov over the past and present was interesting and i enjoyed the mystery of what was happening/what the end would be. unfortunately the last 1/4 of the book just fell flat for me and a lot of things were left unanswered and not in a way that you feel satisfied with an unanswered ending. 

i would have liked to know

what happened with game soc and the full extent of that,

i know it probably takes away the mystery but the story just completely loses all stakes after

the chad reveal - especially when jolyon has barely any reaction
