Blood of My Monster
by Rina Kent
At first I was like “The girl is pretending to be a man? And the book ISNT set like 200 years back? What could possibly be the reason?” (Because I didn’t know shit before I started the book) The reason is honestly kind of valid, she’s looking for revenge but at the same time… it’s very unrealistic to the point that I stopped myself so I don’t think more of it, because i really don’t want to ruin it for myself… because in the hell did she manage to shower alone in a military base for 18 months? Simply not possible, people talk, people would hide and do whatever horrors to get to the bottom of why this one particular person hadn’t been showering with the rest?? Also can we also think for a sec of how she even knew the lead was in the military? Because that part- we actually don’t know shit off. The fact that this uncle had “all of these contacts” in the military but still had to send HIS NEICE to the military and deal with god knows what horrors on her own… instead maybe like paying WHATEVER it took to have someone do in instead?
I like possessive okay?? But it was giving “if I can’t have her, no one can” but at the same time that isn’t really that true… because he didn’t kill her when he suspected that she had a lover? But I feel like that’s only because he firmly believed that he can make her HIS. Which he literally said, no balls. But they weren’t even together TOGETHER at that point- so
