Fortune and Glory: Tantalizing Twenty-Seven
by Janet Evanovich
Early on, I was a huge Morelli fan, but Ranger loves Steph for who she is, encourages her, and picks her up and dusts her off when she stumbles and falls. This book really drives that home ... until she pulls her wishy-washy once again.
I liked the addition of treasure hunting, while still having to apprehend FTA's. Lula is definitely in fine form early in the book for comic relief. George was a much needed breath of fresh air. Gabriela was an interesting character, but was definitely a launching platform for her own book. sigh... I'd rather read more about Diesel.
There's a lot of car destruction in this book ... along with a few buildings. Grandma is awesome in this book.
I have to say, I enjoyed this one more than the past few books ... up til the end ...
