Lifel1k3 by Jay Kristoff
4.0
Lifel1k3 is like Tank Girl (the comic, not the movie) lite. It's not a bad thing, but it's like reading a story you've read before, adapted for a teenage audience. It borrows heavily in many of its character developments, from the character's looks and interests, to their mannerisms and actions.
As a teenager, I loved Tank Girl for those things. And I can appreciate Lifel1k3, because I want as many books, movies, and shows in these deserted wastelandy robot-filled quirky-strong-female-inhabited universes. Play Borderlands, watch Mad Max, read Tank Girl, read Lifel1k3. I hope you love them all.
Strong 3/Low 4 for me.
