Babel: An Arcane History by R.F. Kuang

Did not finish book. Stopped at 35%.

Just found that the slow pace and emphasis on world building (rather than character development and plot movement) wasn’t really keeping me engaged. I liked the premise, and it was well written, just a bit laborious. I may try to return to it at another time.
