What Time the Sexton's Spade Doth Rust
by Alan Bradley
The Flavia series was done. Finished. And then we got this surprise! And I was delighted. Flavia is a bit more introspective in this installation. There is less action than in past books. But I kind of liked it! Flavia is growing up and this felt like that transition from kid to teen in a totally relatable way. Mostly, though, Jayne Entwhistle is an absolute delight. I don't do a lot of audiobooks anymore but it's a necessity for this series because the voice work is just so good.
