The Soulmate by Sally Hepworth

I picked this up on a whim last week while I was at the shops, and unlike many of the other books that I have purchased, I picked it up and read it within a week of purchasing it - shocking, I know!
'The Soulmate' is told from the perspective of Pippa, the woman who lives off the cliff and Amanda, the woman who went over the cliff. Intersecting, non-linear in narrative and oh so addictive, I found it impossible to put down.
I really enjoyed the SA sleepy town setting, fast paced, flicking narrative, the multiple layers and dimensions given to each character along the way and the exploration of mental illness (how to seperate a person from it) as well as the contrast in marriage and values that evolve throughout the novel. The clever title with strong connections to the story line and sexy cover was the cherry on top for me.
Whilst I had a hunch how the ending would go I still loved every minute of this read and cannot wait to add more Sally Hepworth titles to my shelves.
