I don't really have much to say about this book that I haven't already said about the rest of the series. I liked the overall story, and the shift to a darker tone (my favourites in the series, book and movie-wise, tend to be darker), but I found it hard to enjoy the book because of its obvious sexism. I really hate the way a lot of the female characters are written and treated, and it's honestly just so upsetting that I'm finding these things in a series meant for kids. I've read lots of books written by men, and I've actually yet to come across any woman portrayed quite as terribly as in Harry Potter. Which is such a shame. Also, I wasn't a huge fan of the romantic subplots -- especially the Ron/Hermione jealousy and the Ginny/Harry bits -- because they didn't really add anything, and a lot of the time they felt out of character.

Overall, it was a decent book I guess.
