The Murder of Roger Ackroyd by Agatha Christie

5.0

This book was honestly phenomenal. I thoroughly enjoyed it all the way through, but was probobly at about a 4 star rating (fun and good, but not special) until the end when a series of reveals and one central moment cast the whole novel into sinister relief. This book has everything you want from an early murder mystery. It’s campy, fun, full of interesting characters, and ultimately offers a darker look at human character. I highly recommend.
