 This is not normally my genre but it sounded interesting. What I didn't realize was this is a series of four books so this book does end on a cliffhanger. The story kept me engaged and I enjoyed the story. It didn't have a lot of techno babble and was easy to follow while still realizing it was fantasy/magic. If you want to wade into the urban fantasy genre, this one is pretty good, just know that there are three more books before the story is complete.

Narrator was good, listened at 2.0 speed.
